An update to my previous "create and delete controls at runtime" code. Updated to allow choosing colors for text and background, fonts, font sizes, etc. Also supports random color choices. C# has 140 colors by name to choose from, so they're all included here in a text file with the code (file name: colors.ops) With very little additional code, this could be used as a neat, colorful "virtual sticky notes" program.

  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net

Yeah colour is actually spelt 'color' American English just makes better sense. I find your submissions very useful Dave. I know the basic syntax of C# but I just do not have many flight hours up with it. At the moment I am messing around with the string libraries. I will download this submission and play with it too. Cheers buddy. 5*

Hi, and thanks for the comments! Yep, in America here, so we spell things a little differently :) I'm very pleased to hear the code is helpful. I love writing code and am really enjoying learning c#. I'm currently working on a much larger project for a client, so I'm a bit nervous about it but sure am enjoying it too.

Don't be nervous Dave. You're a good coder. You'll always get the job because you are not one bit bOnKeRz, down-to-earth, and professional. Lot of these guys are nutz. Hair line of an difference between an genius and a nutcase and gifted is somewhere in between, Most gifted people are benign though. Wouldn't hurt a fly. Particularly after discovering the 'truth' about the universe. Scary...
