Since lots of people, including myself, have been having trouble with the VB.NET tutorials on how to show BrowseForFolder to get a directory path I put this project together. It's expands on the code from Charles Chadwick so that you can customize the Dialog from outside the class instead of only inside. To do it, I used Enumerations and Properties. The form shows you just 3 different ways of using the Dialog, but the possibilities are endless. I hope this helps some of you out there that have been asking Charles for a complete project using the BrowseForFolder Dialog :)

For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net including:McAfee.com
