This script was written to demonstrate a true keyword search of a Microsoft Access Database. To explain, most supposed keyword database search scripts just search one database table field(usually named "keywords") that holds the keywords that are assigned to that particular record. This script actually searches every field of every record in a database table using one or multiple keywords. This script was also written in a manner to be as stripped down as possible concerning style elements such as graphic design and layout. I find that this is very useful for someone who would want the functionality of this script without having to spend hours stripping off the style elements mentioned above. The example database that is used for this script is taken from my development of the Music News Archive @

Afterdownloading it, you will need a program like Winzip to decompress it.Virus note:All files are scanned once-a-day by Planet Source Code for viruses, but new viruses come out every day, so no prevention program can catch 100% of them. For your own safety, please:
  1. Re-scan downloaded files using your personal virus checker before using it.
  2. NEVER, EVER run compiled files (.exe's, .ocx's, .dll's etc.)--only run source code.

If you don't have a virus scanner, you can get one at many places on the net
